Last Weekend for HOT's "Legally Blonde"

Sunday brought a beautiful evening to enjoy some music and comedy at Ritter Park Amphitheater.

Huntington Outdoor Theatre finished its third weekend of Legally Blonde: The Musical, which continues with the final three shows Friday through Sunday, July 27-29. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Preshows start at 7 p.m.

This year's show stars Kathryn Davis, an actual attorney who works in legacy planning at Huddleston Bolen and who is portraying the charming Elle Woods, a character made famous by Reese Witherspoon in the 2001 Hollywood production. Broadway introduced Legally Blonde: The Musical in 2007.

"Legally Blonde" tells the story of sorority girl who follows an ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School for the cause of love, only to find out that she has surprising talent for the law, and that love brings some surprises as well.

Also starring in this year's HOT production are WCHS 8/Fox 11 news reporter Kennie Bass as a Harvard law professor, as well as Jacob Jarvis as love interest Emmett Forrest, Chloe Donahoe as Elle's beautician friend Paulette, Caroline Hunter as fitness celebrity Brooke Wyndham and many others.
