On stage this weekend, First Stage Theatre Company (Huntington's long-running children's theatre) presents Little Women: the Musical.
It’s based on the beloved novel by American author Louisa May Alcott, which follows the lives of four sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March - and details their passage from childhood to womanhood. It's a great story and loaded with terrific songs (and be sure to bring a hanky - there are some tear-jerking moments, too).
It takes the stage Fridays and Saturdays, Nov. 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays, Nov. 16 and 23 at 2 p.m. at the Huntington City Hall JCS Auditorium at 800 5th Avenue. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens. For more info, call 304-416-KIDS.
