The Tony Awards

The Tony Awards put on a heck of a show last night, with the focus on the hugely popular Hamilton (which walked away with a total of 11 awards out of 16 nominations - but to be fair, sometimes more than one member of the cast was competing with each other).

On the non-musical side, The Humans was the big winner.

Host James Corden did a terrific job keeping it moving along - he had a great opening number all about how his love for the theatre started (and continues). The show was loaded with amazing performances - a great preview of some of the shows now running on Broadway.
