There's only one community theatre performance this weekend, and it's in Parkersburg - but it's a very funny show, one of Neil Simon's best:
Barefoot in the Park - The Actors Guild of Parkersburg present the comedy by Neil Simon on Jan. 20, 21, 27 and 28 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 22 and 29 at 2:30 p.m. at 724 Market Street. Tickets are $16 for adults and $14 for students and senior citizens. (On opening night, when you buy one ticket you get another one free.)
Closer to home, the Marshall Artists Series presents a touring production based on a beloved fairy tale.
Cinderella Ballet - The Marshall Artists Series hosts the State Ballet Theatre of Russia on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Keith Albee Performing Arts Center, as they present the full-length ballet, which tells the enchanting story of wishes and dreams that really do come true. The beloved ballet is set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev, with choreography by Vladimir Vasiliev.
