On Stage in January

   With the new year community theatre starts heating up again! Well, slightly - there are two shows taking the stage in January:

- The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - The Charleston Light Opera Guild presents the musical comedy on Jan. 19, 20, 26, 27 and Feb. 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Jan. 28 and Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 each. The show will be presented at the Charleston Light Opera Guild Theatre at 411 Tennessee Avenue in Charleston.

- Nightfall With Edgar Allan Poe - The Kanawha Players present the play on Jan. 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the La Belle Theatre at 311 D Street in South Charleston.

   So go see a show!
