We have profiles of the performers who will be taking part in next weekend's Opening Night - An Alchemy Cabaret - it takes the stage at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9, at Union Pub and Grill in Huntington.
Let's meet a new member of Alchemy Theatre Troupe: Josie Fisher.
Josie is a graduate student at Marshall University studying Music Performance with an emphasis in trumpet.
During her time at Marshall, she has been an active performer in the Jazz Band, Orchestra, Marching Thunder, Chamber Choir, Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony and a scholarship singer at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was an ensemble cast member in "Traditions: The Rise of Marshall" and has played trumpet in the pit orchestra for other productions including "Guys and Dolls" and "The Full Monty."
She is very excited for her first production with Alchemy Theater Troupe! She wants to thank her family and friends for their continuous support throughout her musical career.
Opening Night - An Alchemy Cabaret takes the stage on Friday, Feb. 8, and Saturday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. at Union Pub and Grill on 4th Avenue in Huntington. Tickets are $15 each and limited to 60 per night, so RSVP to alchemytheatrewv@gmail.com
