Interview with Len Trent from "Picasso at the Lapin Agile"

Alchemy Theatre is offering two more chances to catch their latest play, the very funny Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and it all happens this weekend!

We have another interview with a member of the cast to share - let’s hear from the talented and funny Len Trent, who plays the part of Albert Einstein:

Q: What’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile about?

Len: A chance meeting between Picasso,  Einstein, and Elvis show what a very young 20th Century has in store.

Q: Rumor has it that this play is actually funny. True?

Len: It's by Steve Martin, so it better be.

Q: Why did you want to be part of this play?

Len: Just being in this show was enough.  It is a true ensemble piece, so all roles are great and crucial.

Q: Tell us about the cast - funny, talented or mostly drunkards?

Len: Obviously Drunkards. I guess the other two labels fit, as well.

Q: Any unusual challenges with this show?

Len: A slight German accent and dealing with this Mike Murdock guy.

Q: Why would you recommend this play to our readers?

Len: It's Steve Martin. It's a smart, funny piece, and there is a lot of talent returning that I am hoping people have missed.

   Thanks, Len!

Picasso at the Lapin Agile is being presented by Alchemy Theatre Troupe on April 12 and 13 at 8 p.m. at the Kindred Communications Building at 555 5th Avenue in Huntington. Tickets are general admission and are $15 each.
