George Carlin - Baseball vs. Football
Hey, I finally found a great clip of George Carlin doing a routine that doesn't include any of those infamous seven words. Here he talks about the difference between baseball and football. Great stuff!

Thanks for finding this clip, Chuck. A truly classic routine from a truly classic performer. He's going to be missed.
Speaking of missing, don't miss HBO2's rebroadcasts of Carlin's HBO concerts tonight and tomorrow (June 25 and 26) and his final HBO show on plain HBO Friday (June 27). Also, NBC is replaying the very first episode of Saturday Night Live (y'know, when it was funny) hosted by Carlin this weekend.
Neal, thanks for the tip - and it's always great to hear from one of my oldest friends! I've never seen that episode of SNL, so I'll have the Tivo running. And I agree with your comment - as my pal Clint once said, "I remember way back when Saturday Night Live was a comedy show!"
