On Stage This Weekend

    Several great shows on stage this weekend - here's the rundown:

Willy Wonka: The Musical - HART presents the classic musical based on the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl on July 18-20 and 25-27 at 8:30 p.m. Gates open for picnicking at 6:30 p.m. Children's Preshow "Adventures in Storyland" at 7 p.m., "HART's Superstar Preshow" at 7:30 p.m. It will be presented at the Ritter Park Amphitheater at 1310 8th Ave. in Huntington. Tickets are $15 Adults, $10 Children, $20 reserved Seats, Group Rates Available. 

- Labels: A Series of One ActsThe Basement Playhouse presents the plays on July 18 - 19 at 8 p.m. and July 20 at 2 p.m. at the Pendleton Arts Center at 1537 Winchester Avenue in Ashland, Ky. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for kids (12 and Under) Veterans, Active Military and Public Servants get in free (with ID).

- Peter Pan -  Jenny Wiley Theatre presents the musical  July 18, 23, 26, 30 and 31 at 8:15 p.m. at the Jenny Wiley Theatre Ampitheatre at 121 Theatre Court in Prestonsburg, Ky. Tickets $12.50 - $22

- Children of Eden - The Aracoma Story presents the musical loosely based on stories from The Bible.  Shows run through July 26 at 8:30 p.m. at Chief Logan State Park, Little Buffalo Creek Road in Logan, W.Va.  Tickets are: adults $12, seniors $10, children (3 - 12) $8. 

- The Aracoma Story - Will be presented July 18- 26 at 8:30 p.m. at Chief Logan State Park on Little Buffalo Creek Road in Logan, W.Va. Tickets are adults $12, Seniors $10, Children (3 - 12) $8.
