"Alchemy Cabaret" - Meet John Campbell and Stephanie Jackson

Let’s meet two more members of the cast of Opening Night - An Alchemy Cabaret, which runs Friday and Saturday at the Union Pub and Grill in Huntington.

John W. Campbell was in last year’s cabaret, directed "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" for Alchemy Theatre Troupe, and serves on the Troupe's board.

He was active with Arts Resources for the Tri-State (ARTS) as an actor, and directed "An Evening with Gilbert & Sullivan" for them.

You may have seen him on stage in "Comedy of Errors" at WV State. He will perform next month in First Stage's production of "Newsies."

Previous acting experience elsewhere includes Woodford Theatre, Bluegrass Theatre Guild, Studio Players, and directing as well as acting for Georgetown (KY) Community Theatre.

Stephanie Jackson is thrilled to join Alchemy Theater Troupe for this year's cabaret.

She strongly believes it's never too late to grow and learn and is blessed to have an opportunity to share her love of music and performance and be a part of this group!

Stephanie has recently performed with Huntington Area Regional Theater Group (HART) in "Shrek" and "Beauty and the Beast."

She hopes to continue developing her craft and expressing her passion for the challenge and rewards it provides.

Opening Night - An Alchemy Cabaret takes the stage on Friday, Feb. 8, and Saturday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. at Union Pub and Grill on 4th Avenue in Huntington. Tickets are $15 each and limited to 60 per night, so RSVP to alchemytheatrewv@gmail.com to reserve yours!
