"It's a Wonderful Life"

Here's a show I somehow missed: It's a Wonderful Life by the Paramount Players!

"Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings," and this time it will happen on the Paramount stage in Ashland during the performance of It's a Wonderful Life. This heart-warming story is a Christmas classic that follows the saga of George Bailey as he discovers what life would be like for his friends and family if he had never been born.

There are three evening performances by the Paramount Players, Thursday through Saturday, December 15 through 17, with a matinee at 3 p.m. Dec. 17.

Tickets are $15 adults, $12 kids.

Chuck, there are also two school performances at the Paramount for area students on the morning of Thursday, December 15. So, cast and crew will be ready for the early show at 9:30 a.m. and again at 11:30 a.m.

James Edward Holley, who was last seen on stage in 5th Avenue Theatre Co's "Noises Off!" and more recently improv'ing in "The Murdered Mistress" by Murder and Merriment, is doing a GREAT job as George Bailey in his first appearance on the historic PAC stage. Mary Hatch Bailey is played solidly by Tish Maynard.

Other names local theatre enthusiasts may recognize are: Tyler Bradley, Josh Janotta, Sheila Meade, Jim Maggard, Tim Holmes and many, many others (including me) :)

Hope you can come see one of the shows!
