Coming soon - The Best of Scarpelli and Kehde


    There's a special music event taking the stage later this month - a celebration of the theatre group know as CYAC!

   As The Contemporary Youth Arts Company celebrates our 20 year anniversary, we are proud to present The Best of Scarpelli and Kehde: Celebrating 20 Years Of Original Musical Theater
   Join us as some of the finest talent in the valley comes together to perform selections celebrating 20 years of work by the state’s most prolific writing duo, composer Mark Scarpelli and playwright-lyricist Dan Kehde.
   Featuring songs from Dachau, Lincoln, Romeo and Juliet, Norman Rockwell's An American Paradise, An American Love Story, Holly Grove, Frankenstein, Mary, Jack the Ripper, The Stock Car Musical, The Blob, CHIX, Griswold and the Goblin King, and School Girl Zombies from Hell High, the ensemble features Bill Rainey, Ted Rose, Rick Fleenor, Tanya Dillon-Page, Jonathan Tucker, Susanna Tucker, Nik Tidquist, Madeline Gourevitch, Sheila Jarrett, Haley Lambert, Erin Martin, Molly Means, and more, with a chorus of 35, accompanied by a 19-piece orchestra. 
   Come, enjoy some of the finest moments of new musical theater come to life on the Capitol Center Stage.
   Those of you familiar with the works of Scarpelli and Kehde know you won’t want to miss this event. For those of you not familiar with the work of this duo, this is a good time to see what they have been doing these past 20 years. Don’t miss this !

8 p.m. Thursday thru Saturday, Sept. 24 – 26,
2 p.m. Sunday matinee, Sept. 27
8 p.m. Thursday – Saturday, Oct. 1 – 3
at the WVSU Capitol Center Theater
