Vote for Your Favorite Shows!

A reminder that there's still time to send in your vote for what shows you'd like to see local theatre groups tackling. We have several votes already, and some excellent suggestions so far.

You can comment by clicking the link at the bottom of this post or you can email your suggestions to TheMinskers@aol.com.

Maybe your suggestion will inspire a local group to tackle your favorite show! Groups are always struggling with the decision - here's your chance to help!

We'll take suggestions for the next two weeks and then announce the results on May 15.

Vote when ready, Gridley!

I'll vote the same as I did last time. The Drowsy Chaperone (which is now closed on broadway), Guys & Dolls, and White Christmas.

Here are a few shows that the Huntington area should get the chance to enjoy:

1. 12 Angry Men
2. Hedwig and the Angry Inch
3. The Last 5 Years
4. Faust
5. What the Butler Saw
6. And Then There Were None
7. Mere Mortals
8. A Few Good Men
9. The Full Monty
10. Red Noses

Ambitious, I know. I am too. They're all great shows, and I would love to see even a few of them done in Huntington.

I found a copy of "What the Butler Saw" script in a used bookstore not long ago and picked it up on your reccommendation. I plan to read it soon now that things have calmed down for me a little
